Hi! It's me, Taylor, the founder and president of The Art of Confidence, a not-for-profit corporation in Johnson CIty, TN. My organization exists to equip young people with the tools and skills to be great leaders, all while building confidence in themselves and their abilities.
2026 marks the second year of The Art of Confidence Leadership Academy! Through this program, fifteen future leaders from across our region will study seven attributes of leadership (as defined by Danny Thomas), and work together to organize, plan, promote, and produce a large-scale fundraising event, the 5th Annual Dance For A Cure, benefiting BreakthroughT1D (formerly known as the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation). We hope to go BIG for our 5th birthday celebration!
Each participant in the Leadership Academy will be partnered with a mentor that is a leader in the community and their business to provide advice, oversight, accountability, and support as they work toward their goals. What I’m most proud of, is that this program is being offered at no cost to the participants!
